Shanxi Zhicheng Cellulose Co.,Ltd began to develop and produce methyl cellulose and hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose in the late 1970s. One of the earliest enterprises producing nonionic cellulose ether in China. Its products have won the 1978 Science Conference Achievement Award. With investment of 200 million RMB, we built a new plant Shanxi Zhicheng Cellulose Co., Ltd. covers an area of 150 acres which annual capacity reaches 30,000MT.

Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC)
Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is water-soluble, non-ionic polymer that is commonly used as a thickener and water retention agent in a variety of applications (e.g., tile adhesives, wall putty, EIFS, etc.). Multiple grades and tailored formulation are available to suit various industrial needs.

Hydroxyethyl Methyl Cellulose (HEMC or MHEC) are excellent thickener and water retaining agents in construction industries for tile glue, grouts, skim coat, and cement render. Multiple grades and tailored formulations are available to suit various industrial needs.

Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC)
Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) is a nonionic water-soluble polymer derived from cellulose, is widely used for paint, personal care products, construction, oil drilling and other special areas. It provides thickening, protective colloids, workability, moisturizing effects, surface activity and stability.

Redispersible Polymer Powder(RDP)
Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP/VAE) is made by spray-drying special water- based emulsion. Mostly based on vinyl acetate- ethylene. Dissolves in water easily and quickly forms emulsion. Its chemical properties are the same as original emulsion completely with excellent flexibility in low temperature.

HPMC is the most important additive in tile adhesive, it delivers tile adhesive long open time, adjustment time, sag resistance and ensure cement hydration and improve the bond strength of tile adhesive.
Wall Putty
HPMC provides water retention, workability and enough operation time for wall putty, it ensures smoothness and wettability of putty to base surface.
Cement Based Mortar
In the course of construction, mortar is an important building material, and its performance plays a crucial role in the quality and durability of the whole building project.
Gypsum Based Plaster
HPMC has function of water retention and thickening, it improves the adhesion strength and sag resistance of gypsum plaster and prevents plaster cracking, chalking and bulging caused by dry too fast and not enough hydration.
Water Based Paint
Our HEC offers excellent suspension property with wide compatibilities that can be matched with an extensive range of colored pigments, emulsions, surfactants, and defoamers.
Self-leveling Mortar
HPMC with low viscosity is widely used in self-leveling. Adding hydroxypropyl methylcellulose can control the water holding capacity of the ground after pouring, the bleeding is not obvious, and the ground has high strength and small shrinkage after drying, thus greatly reducing cracks.
Detergents
Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose(HPMC) provides property of thickening and lubricating. it is widely used in detergent/cosmetics, shampoo, shower gel and hand sanitizer.
