Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose prepared from natural polymer materials through a series of chemical processes. Product characteristics

1、Water retention: water retention is enhanced to help solve the problems of cement or gypsum building materials drying too fast, poor hardening or insufficient hydration and cracking.
2、Operability: It can enhance the plasticity of mortar in construction projects and improve the efficiency of painting.
3、Adhesion: It can enhance the plasticity of mortar and make mortar adhere to the substrate better.
4、Anti-slip: In construction works, due to its thickening effect, it can prevent the problem of slippage between mortar and substrate.

 

Applications

Construction

Used as a water retainer and retarder in mortars to give them good pumping properties.
Used as a binder in gypsum, plaster material, putty powder or other building materials to improve their compatibility and prolong operation time.
Used as a slurry enhancer for tile, marble and plastic decoration to reduce cement usage.
